EXECUTIVE ASSESSMENT: SELECTION

What is it?

Executive Assessment for Selection provides an in-depth evaluation of an individual’s ability to succeed in a particular position given the success factors associated with that position. This assessment is designed to assist the organization in making selection or promotion decisions for critical positions.

How does it work?

HRCatalyst incorporates an individual’s work history, 360-degree feedback (when available), personality inventory, cognitive assessments, business case simulations/exercises, and an in-depth interview into the assessment process. We synthesize all information into a Leadership Assessment and Feedback Report and debrief key stakeholders around the results of the assessment. We are also available to provide one-on-one feedback to the individual being assessed.

  1. HRCatalyst interviews key stakeholders to learn about the target role and the organization’s culture, strategy, challenges, opportunities, and key initiatives.
  2. HRCatalyst communicates one-on-one with the candidate to explain the process and discuss next steps.
  3. Candidate completes executive assessment elements.
  4. HRCatalyst compiles and analyzes all data and produces a summary of results and recommendations.
  5. HRCatalyst conducts debrief meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  6. HRCatalyst conducts a feedback session with the candidate (optional).
